What are the Emergency Evacuation steps?

1. Park equipment to the side of the aisles and out of the walkways. 

2. Switch radios to Channel 7 and await further instruction. 

3.Safety Manager will switch radio to Channel 1 to contact Building Maintenance and assess what type of emergency is occurring. 

4.Safety Supervisor will instruct supervisors and associates to evacuate and gather at the nearest Rally Point. 

5.Supervisors will take a head count of their associates at the Rally Point. 

6.The Safety Team and Site Manager will zone the warehouse to ensure full evacuation.

1. Maintain a high degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene.                                                

2. No spitting or other unsanitary practices are allowed on the premise.                                                

3. Always wash hands thoroughly before leaving the restroom, after smoking, eating, and before performing work duties.                                                

4. Storage of personal clothing and belongings is only allowed in designated areas.                                                

5. No glass is allowed in the warehouse. No exceptions.                                                

6. No consumption of food (including chewing gum, candy, and medicines) or drinking is allowed inside the warehouse except in the breakroom. Water is allowed in the warehouse only in a clear/spill proof plastic container.                                                

7.          Smoking and chewing tobacco is not allowed inside the warehouse except in the designated locations.                                                

8. Pilferage or damage to the product by personnel, such as foot prints on containers, etc. is not allowed.                                                

9. Any other improper behavior or dress code violations are not allowed.                                                

10. No person shall work while infected with a communicable disease or while affected with microbiological contamination including boils, sores, and infected wounds.                                                

11. It is your responsibility to leave your work area and the break room clean at all times.                                                

12. When trash is spotted on the floor, pallets, or on merchandise, pick it up and take it to the nearest trash container.                                                

13. The use of cell phones by associates is permitted only in the break area and locker room. No cell phone use or texting is permitted on the warehouse floor                                                

14. Bare hand contact with damaged, open, or re-boxed food products is prohibited.                                                

15. Loose jewelry is not allowed in areas of the operation with open or exposed products.
