Born with a sinful nature.

Cuts you off from God; will keep you out of Heaven.
Why could they not hide the truth from God?
He knows everything.
What happened to Ananias and Sapphira to show everyone how serious it is to sin against God?
They fell down dead.
What did the lame man ask Peter and John for?
Money.
What was his greatest need?
Sin taken away/forgiven.
Why can you not make God think you are good enough for Heaven?
He knows everything, so He knows all the wrong things you have done.
Where did Simon’s power come from?
Satan.
Who healed the lame man?
The Lord Jesus.
Why was the man healed?
He believed that the Lord Jesus could heal him.
What did Philip tell the people of Samaria?
Christ died for your sin and rose again; repent and believe.
What did many of the people of Samaria do?
Repented and believed.
How can you have your sin forgiven?
Turn from sin and trust the Lord Jesus as your Saviour.
If the Lord Jesus has forgiven your sin, what should you do?
Praise and thank Him; tell others.
How did Simon try to get the same power that Peter and John had?
Offered them money.
Peter told Simon he needed to repent. What does “repent” mean?
Turn from sin; be sorry for sin, so sorry you don’t want to sin anymore.
