Plagiarism is the act of taking other work that is not yours and presenting it as your own. Chat GPT, copying a student's answers, Googling answers, etc.

As soon as they arrive at school. Students cannot leave class after arriving to go to the breakfast line.

Students should come to class, grab their books, and take a seat. They should silently read their book for the scheduled time. They should not stare at their friends, walls, desks, etc. No talking. They should be actively engaged in their book.

Politely explain your situation, ask in advance, and be respectful and kind. Be sure to be reasonable. Bonus points for creative answers

What happens if you use your phone during class? What are the consequences? 

The teacher will notify you that you are not in compliance with school policy and write a referral. A principal will come get the phone, and your guardian will have to pick it up.
