Students should come to class, grab their books, and take a seat. They should silently read their book for the scheduled time. They should not stare at their friends, walls, desks, etc. No talking. They should be actively engaged in their book.

The teacher will notify you that you are not in compliance with school policy and write a referral. A principal will come get the phone, and your guardian will have to pick it up.
