What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you first get in class?
Unpack your belongings, read directions on board, complete morning journal.
Can you lose points in Teacher vs. Student?
Where should you play during recess?
Only in the area for your class that day.
How do we line up in the classroom?
In number order, keeping two squares between us and the person in front of/behind us.
What happens if you need supplies from the student stations around the room?
Ask Ms. Cadet if you can borrow supplies. DO NOT reach for the supplies on your own.
What is the procedure for eating lunch in the classroom?
Put your lunch down, get in line to wash your hands, wash your hands, then sit and eat your lunch. Throw away all trash in big plastic bag.
How does ClassDojo work?
You earn points for following ROCK expectations in Ms. Cadet's class. At the end of the day (or week in Gilmore's class), the person with the most points gets something from Ms. Cadet's treasure box.
What happens if you continuously break ROCK rules?
You will be given a warning then you will receive an infraction.
What are the 2 new things you will need to do before going to specials?
1. Pack up everything (including your science and reading journals) in your backpack.
2. Wipe down your desk and seat.
How can we have a positive learning environment?
Don't yell at others, show respect to others and yourself, listen to your speaker, whisper when working with someone, don't bully each other, don't give up, work your hardest.
What are the steps for using the restroom?
1. Sign out on your cubby by putting the time you leave on the side.
2. Put cubby on your desk and go to the restroom.
3. Sign back in with the time you return.
4. Put cubby on floor or back underneath benches.
How does Teacher vs. Student work?
Anytime you are doing what you are supposed to, students get a point. Anytime you are NOT doing what you are supposed to, teacher gets a point. At the end of the week, if students have the most points they get a reward.
What do you do if there is a blue lockdown and you are in the hallway?
Go to the nearest classroom or hiding place.
If you buy lunch in the lunchroom, what are the steps for getting lunch once we get inside the lunchroom?
1. Get hand sanitizer
2. Stand on a rocket.
3. Go through lunch line (Ms. Cadet will give you your lunch badge while in line)
4. Show lunch badge to cashier.
5. Place lunch in a plastic bag and stack tray.
