What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
You hang up backpack on the hook, go to your seat, and begin your morning work.
When you come to school late, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a late slip.
How do you work as a group?
By taking turns talking and sharing.
What do you do to help others be a better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
Where should 2nd grade students play during recess?
On the blacktop, the playground, or field.
Is it okay to talk in your group when the teacher is talking?
NO WAY JOSE!
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, during recess, and lunch recess. If it is an emergency, you will use a ticket to go to the bathroom.
How do you get chosen as the Wildcat of the Month?
You have to be respectful, responsible, helpful, and always follow the rules.
Do you get to sit anywhere you would like?
Yes! You and your group will be choosing a new place to sit each day!
When can I sharpen my pencil?
You can trade your pencil for another. If you have a fancy pencil, you will sharpen at recess time.
What do you do when the bell rings?
Go to a knee, wait until the yard duty blows the whistle, and then quietly walk back to class.
How do students get a phone call home?
If you do not follow the rules, and get warning from a teacher, but still do not try to do better, your parents will be contacted.
How do students line up?
How should you behave in the hallway walking to and from class?
You should walk quietly. NO RUNNING!
When can you leave class?
You can't unless your teacher gives you permission.
