What do you do when you want to talk in class?
Raise your hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
You get your materials out of your backpack, put the backpack in your locker, and come sit down at your desk.
What do you when you walk to the office or lunch?
You walk quietly and in a straight line.
When you come to school late after 7:55 what should you do?
Go to the office to get a late slip.
When should you be out of your seat?
Never! Only when the teacher says it is ok for you to be somewhere else.
How do you ask for help in class?
Raise your hand quietly and wait. If you are working with a partner or group, ask them first.
What is the rule about playing with your friends?
You must keep your hands to yourself and make sure not to push, grab, shove, or hurt anyone.
Where should 4th grade students play during recess?
The need to be on the field
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, before gym, after lunch, afterschool.
What do you do when the teacher calls you in at the end of recess?
You must gather your things (water bottles, sweaters) and line up
What happens if you have a silent lunch?
You will sit and eat quietly at the silent lunch table for lunch that day.
What do you do if one person is having a harder time on the activity?
Be patient. Take the time to help them understand the activity.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before school, after you look through your pencil case to make sure none of your other pencils are already sharp, and between subjects.
What do you do if it has rained outside?
You will have indoor recess in the classroom.
How do students get an infraction?
By being out of uniform, disrespecting others, being disruptive, destroying property
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting the work or project done.
How do students line up?
Show the teacher you are ready to listen and she will call you/your row to line up QUIETLY in a straight line.
How should you walk in the hallway on the way to and from recess?
You should walk quietly through the halls so you do not disturb other classes.
When can you go out of the class?
You can't unless your teacher sends you out.
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly but not disrupting other groups.
