What do you do when you want to talk in class?
Raise your hand and quietly wait until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
Take out your pencil and begin the startup work.
What do you do if you see a mess in the bathroom?
Report to a teacher, immediately.
How many students may leave the class at one time?
One.
How do you interrupt Ms. Z during small group?
You don't! Wait!
What do you do to help others be better students?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
What do I need to bring every single day of the school year?
Pen/pencil and fully charged device.
When you want to spend lunch recess with a teacher, what must you do?
Get a pass from THAT teacher.
How do students respect other students' properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything
How can students earn "I'm Proud of You" tickets?
Coming to class prepared.
Start working immediately.
Move from group work to Language Live within 2 minutes.
Complete 3 activities and/or 20 minutes per day.
When can I use the bathroom?
6th grade: With class after startup work
7th & 8th: After the first 15 minutes of class.
What grade do you have to have to pass?
60
How do you walk in the main hallway?
Single file on the blue. Voice level 0.
What color are, and where do you find bathroom passes to leave the room?
Pink and on the table or on Ms. Z's desk.
What kind of food/drink can students bring to/have in class?
Water.
When can I get a drink during class?
You can't. Get a drink before or after class.
What do you do when you want to go to the library for lunch recess?
You may ask Ms. Z for a pass before the end of 5th block.
When waiting to enter a class, how are students supposed to behave?
Line up on lockers outside of classroom waiting to enter. Wait quietly and in single file.
What does it look like when students are working?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting their work or project done.
Who is allowed to answer the phone/open the door/welcome guests?
Class Ambassador(s).
How should students line up at the end of class?
When Ms. Zupan dismisses them. All students line up at back of room and no one may open the door until Ms. Z gives the ok.
When there is a fire drill, what do you do?
Quietly push in your chairs and line up in the back of the room. Wait for Ms. Z to monitor your exit.
What do students do during announcements? (2 actions)
Stop talking immediately, and listen.
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly (level 1) but not disrupting others.
