What do you do when you want to talk in class?
Raise you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
Get your notebook from the box on the side table and get to work on your bellwork.
How should you go to my next class or to the cafeteria?
You walk. No running please.
When you come to school late, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a late slip.
How do you get a good grade in Language Arts?
By trying your best and completing your work.
What do you do when your teacher is giving directions or teaching?
You listen carefully and do not interrupt as your teacher is speaking.
What do you do if you need help with your classwork?
Reread the question or ask a friend or raise your hand quietly and wait for me to help you.
What should you do when the bell rings at the end of class?
Sit in your seat quietly until the teacher dismisses you. Do not go stand at the door.
If I am not speaking respectfully to others, what might happen?
You will have a chat with the teacher, and if it continues you will be sent to the hallway for a reset or you will be sent to the office.
What supplies should you bring to class everyday?

When can I use the bathroom?
During passing time. But you can also go if you need to during class. Just be sure to ask first and do not ask to go when I am giving directions. You get 4 passes per card marking.
How should you behave when going to the bathroom?
Walk and go back to class quickly (2 minute break).
If I am goofing off in class and not working what might happen?
You will have a chat with the teacher in the hallway and your teacher might call your parents.
If I do not complete my classwork, will I have to finish it for homework?
Yep! but it will be marked late.
What kind of food can students have in class?
Water or healthy snacks.
Where are the pencil sharpeners?
On the table at the back of the class.
Can you use your phone in the hallway between classes?
No! Your phone should stay in your locker until dismissal.
What happens if I fight or hit another student?
You will be sent to see Mrs. Abdelbaki or Mr. Proctor and be suspended from school.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done.
What if I forget my supplies in my locker.
You will not be allowed to go back to your locker. You will need to borrow. Just be sure to return at the end of class.
How many minutes do you have during passing time to get to your next class?
4 minutes so make sure to get to class on time.
Is it okay to wear a hoodie in class if you are having a bad hair day?
No, hoodies are not allowed in class or the hallway for safety reasons.
What does a good working group sound like?
