What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get to class?
You hang up backpack outside, get out your binder and homework, check in for lunch, turn in homework.
What do you do when you walk to the office or lunch?
You walk in a quietly and straight line with little to no gaps.
When you come to school late like after 7:55, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a late slip.
How do you get your group to work together?
By taking turns talking and sharing.
What do you do to help other be a better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask 3 before me! If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
When the whistle blows twice during recess what do you do?
You must freeze & hands on knees.
How should 4th grade students line up after recess?
They need to line up by the fire hydrant by class, quietly and in line order.
How many people is considered a group?
2 or more people.
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, during recess, and lunch recess. However, you can also go if you earned a pass/ticket.
What happens to you when you get water or goes to the bathroom AFTER the whistle is blown?
You might get laps at recess and or lose your recess time/games.
How do you get to the refocus area?
You will be sent to it if you disrespect your teachers or others and are not following rules to refocus and think about what you have done wrong.
What are the roles for each member?
Manager, Material person, Timer, Reporter, Recorder.
What kind of food can students have in class?
WATER, unless told otherwise.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before school, during recess time or afterschool. You can also trade your pencil for another.
What do you do when the yard duty person blows the whistle?
You stop and freeze with hands on knees.
How do students go to buddy room?
After refocus area, by continuing to harass or threaten others, and disobeying the teacher.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done, being productive.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns, sharing, and using appropriate language and gestures.
How do students line up?
In ABC order or in number order.
How should you behave in the hallway to the cafeteria?
You should be quiet because it is called the quiet zone.
When do you get an office referral?
Refusing to go to the buddy room, continuing to disobey teacher and all adults, fighting, putting others in danger.
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly but not disrupting and talking across the room to others
