Raise your hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
Pick up any papers from basket, sit at your desk, get ready your supplies and begin your bell ringer.
How do you move through the school in between classes?
Walking quietly and keeping my hands to myself.
What will happen if you are late to class?
You will get an infraction.
What is a social contract?
It is a contract that the class has created to set our behavior expectations.
What do you do when another classmate is sharing?
You turn and give them your attention.
How do you ask for help in class?
Raise your hand and wait for the teacher.
Can I use my cell phone in between classes in the hallway?
No, your cell phone is to be in your backpack and turned off during the school day.
What do you do if the fire alarm goes off?
Get up quietly, walk quietly following the fire drill route and stay with your teacher.
When you see the teacher make a timeout signal, what does that mean?
You should stop what you are doing and give the teacher your attention and make the timeout signal as well.
When can I use the bathroom?
During passing periods.
10minutes after class starts and 10 before it ends.
Can I have my ear buds during passing periods?
Students are not allowed to have ear buds during passing periods.
What happens if you don't follow classroom rules or school rules?
You will get an infraction.
What is a class rater?
A student that will monitor the class on a particular behavior.
What kind of food can students have in class?
Only water. That includes no gum allowed in class.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before class begins.
Can you eat in the hallway?
No you can not. Eating is only to be done in the cafeteria.
What is acceptable dress code?
Any solid color (except white), Kaffie, Vets HS, or university shirt. Jeans or shorts. If jeans are torn, must have leggings underneath.
Who needs to follow the social contract?
Everyone in the class should follow the social contract.
Where should cell phones be kept?
Students cell phones should be in their back pack.
Where are completed assignments turned in?
Students should turn completed assignments in class period drawer.
How should students transition during passing periods?
Students should walk and use inside voices during passing periods.
What happens if you give a put down?
You will need to give two put ups.
