By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.

Strike, phone call home.  After 4 strikes a referral is written.

You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!

How do you ask for help in class?

Raise your hand without talking out and wait for an adult to help you out.

What do students do with their belongings?

All of your belongings should be placed under your chair or on the back of your chair.  Occasionally you will put all belongings in the front of the class.

When do you know that class is over? 

When the teacher dismisses you. Do not get out of your seat and go to the door.  Do not pack up early.

How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.

When can I use the bathroom?

Not during instruction.  Request with a quiet hand and show teacher/adult in room to ask for permission. Only one student at a time may leave the classroom.

Everyone is participating. Not shouting or interrupting others. Having respect for everyone's ideas. Raise your hand to participate.

By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using appropriate language and gestures. Do not tease, make fun of or use derogatory statements.
