What do you do when you get in class?
You hang up backpack on your chair, work on your grammar sheet, sharpen pencils.
What do you when you walk to specials or lunch?
You walk in a silent and straight line. Two on the blue.
When you come to school late like after 9:30, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a late slip.
How does turn and talk work?
By taking turns talking and sharing.
How do you ask for help in class?
You raise your hand quietly and wait.
When the chimes ring during class what do you do?
You must stop, freeze and look at teacher
Where should 5th grade students play during recess?
Playground, blacktop or turf. NOT the grass.
How many people is considered a group?
2 or more people.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, lunch recess or work time. NOT instruction time.
What happens to you when you get water or goes to the bathroom after the whistle is blown?
You might get wall detention and or lose your recess time.
How do you get to Think sheets?
Disrespecting your teachers, others and are not following rules to think about what you have done wrong.
What does CHAMP stand for?
C- voice level
H - help
A - Activity
M- Movement
P - Participation
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before school, during recess time or afterschool. You can also trade your pencil for another.
What do you do when the yard duty person blows the whistle?
You will walk quietly to you line and line up in order.
How should you behave at assemblies?
Sit in rows and listen silently. Do not touch others or talk out loud.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done.
How do students line up?
Quietly and in order of dismissal from teacher.
Do Not WAIT for your friends and linger at the back of the line.
How should you behave in the hallway at any time?
You should be quietly because there are classrooms and learning is happening.
When can you go out of the class?
You can't unless your teacher sends you with a note or a hall pass.
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly but not disrupting others.
