What do you do when you get in class?
You hang up backpack; get out your spiral work; check the board for messages; do unfinished work, Lexia, or iReady.
What do you when you walk to the playground?
You walk in a quiet and straight line.
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask you partner and group during individual work time. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
If I am in the back table, you may pick a number and wait at your desk until I am available to help you.
What is the noise level for indoor recess?
Three.
How can our class fill our class reward jar?
We get a compliment from other adults in the school or one of our teachers gives us one.
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When may you leave the to go to playground?
After you have been given permission to go.
How do you get a note home to your family for behavior?
If you disrespect your teachers, others and are not following rules and do not correct your behavior in a timely manner.
What does working together as a team give us?
The teams who cooperate to do a job well, may earn points (dollars) for the team for prizes and classroom privileges.
What kind of food can students have in class?
A healthy, non-wet or non-sticky snack and water.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before school or afterschool. You can also trade your pencil for another.
What do you do at recess when you are teacher blows the whistle?
You will walk quietly to line up immediately if it it time to leave. If she needs to get your attention for not playing appropriately, you will need to go to the teacher blowing the whistle (ringing bell).
How do students get sent to PAC?
By fighting, harassing others, threatening others, and disobeying the teacher.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting their work or project done.
How do students line up?
In ABC order or in number order or by quietest pod.
How should you behave in the hallway and in cafeteria?
You should be walk quietly with your eyes facing forward to the cafeteria, and you should following the cafeteria helpers instructions while in the cafeteria. Use your inside voice while talking with others and clean up when it is time to leave.
When can you go out of the class?
You can't unless your teacher sends you with a note or a hall pass.
