What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
No loud noises when entering class---go straight to your seat. You hang up backpack on your chair, sharpen pencil, get bell work, if have homework put it on desk to be checked.
What do you when you walk to the office or lunch?
You walk in a quietly and straight line.
When you come to school late like after 8:30, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a tardy pass to bring to teacher.
What do you do to help other be a better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask you partner and group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
When the whistle blows during recess what do you do?
You stop everything and go line up
Where should 5th grade students play during recess?
The need to play only in the intermediate play area.
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom or get water?
Before school, during recess, and lunch recess. But you can also go when the teacher is not teaching you, like in whole group.
What happens if you go to the bathroom after the whistle has been blown?
You might lose your recess time.
Why would you sign the BOOK?
You will be sent to sign it if you disrespect your teachers, others and are not following rules to think about what you have done wrong.
How would you act in a group doing a project?
Be a good listener, share ideas work together to have a finish project
What kind of food can students have in class?
Water
snacks cannot be Takis
anything that will make a mess with fingers or the floor
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before school, during recess time or afterschool. You can also trade your pencil for another.
What are the rules when sitting at tables when you lose recess?
.You do not sit next to each other. You do not talk to anyone
How do students get an office referral or sent to office?
By fighting, harassing others, threatening others, and disobeying the teacher and other staff members.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using appropriate language and gestures.
How do students line up?
In ABC order or in number order.
How should you behave in the hallway to the cafeteria?
You should be quiet and walk in a straight line, no pushing or yelling while waiting in line for lunch
When can you go out of the class?
When teacher is not teaching you
