When can you talk in class?
WHEN YOU HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE TEACHER.

What is going directly to my assigned seat?
Students walk quickly and quietly to their class.
How should students behave in the hallway?
What should you do if you are absent?
Check canvas for work or notes. Let each teacher know that you were absent and ask when can you make up the missing assignments.
If an emergency only with permission and when Ms. Conner is not teaching.
When are you able to go to the bathroom?
Where can you put your trash?
In a trash can.
She will say "Clap three times if you can hear my voice" or "Class, Class... ."
What is Mrs. Smith's signal to get the class' attention and/or to be quiet?
What are you not allowed to wear inside of the building?
A hat (beanie) or hood.
When should you go and grab things for Ms. Conner's desk?
Only with the teacher's permission!
What should you bring with you to class?
Notebooks and Paper.
Writing utensils.
Completed forms.
Charged computer.
What is the expectation in the restroom and the classroom?
To clean up after yourself.
Keep me clean; use me well!
When do you throw away your trash?
On the way at the end of class.
Is there running allowed in the hallway?
No
When do you throw things in the classroom?
Only when instructed for an activity.
Walk over to get or give something.
Which type of mindset is allowed?
Only a growth mindset!
What should you do before bed every night to be prepared for school?
1. Prepare your clothes.
2. Take a bath.
3. Make sure you have all supplies in your backpack (books, notebooks, homework, pencils, etc.) where you won't forget it.
What are the things we need to do at the end of class before we can leave?
1. Chromebooks in sleeve.
2. Pack up bookbags; desks and floor clean.
3. Wipe desks and stand/line up quietly.
How loud should students' volume be in the hallway?
Level 0; responding to an adult or classmate Level 1 (Inside voice).
Can you eat in the classroom?
Yes, during lunch or when your teacher allows. Return mask quickly to your face though.
What are the three things you should do when you enter the classroom?
1. Say hello.
2. Sit down and read the board for learning target and do list/assignments/directions.
3. Complete assignments quietly
What should you do if you are having a bad day?
1. One or five-minute meditation; Take some deep breaths.
2. Communicate that with a teacher, adult, or friend you trust.
3. We want to help you through your difficult time; be willing to accept the help. We care about all of you very much!
