Raise your Hand ... WAIT to be called on.

Outside the hallway in a line against the wall (not crowding the door)
How should you speak to your teachers and others in the classroom?
Use kind words with an appropriate tone.
How do we treat substitute teachers?
With respect and kindness.
Follow ALL classroom expectations even when your teacher is not there.
When can you talk in class?
WHEN YOU HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE TEACHER.
This is what you do when first entering the computer lab.
What is going directly to my assigned seat?
How should students behave in the the hallway?
Quickly and quietly moving from one setting to another.
What should you do if you are absent?
Check canvas for work or notes. Let each teacher know that you were absent and ask when can you make up the missing assignments.
When are you able to go to the bathroom?
With your teacher's permission only after you sign out.
Where can you put your trash?
In a trash can.
She will say "Clap three times if you can hear my voice" or "Class, Class... ."
What is Mrs. Smith's signal to get the class' attention and/or to be quiet?
What are you not allowed to wear inside of the building?
Hats or hoods
When can you go and grab things from a teacher's desk?
Only with the teacher's permission!
What should you bring with you to class?
Notebooks and Paper.
Writing utensils.
Completed forms.
Charged computer.
What are the expectations in the bathroom?
No fooling around. Keep the bathroom clean.
When do you throw away your trash?
On the way at the end of class.
Is there running allowed in the hallway?
No
When do you throw things in the classroom?
Only when instructed for an activity.
Walk over to get or give something.
Should you plan to meet your friends at the bathroom?
No. Only one student at a time should be going to the bathroom.
What are the things we need to do at the end of class before we can leave?
1. Chromebooks in sleeve.
2. Pack up bookbags; desks and floor clean.
3. Wipe desks and stand/line up quietly.
How loud should students' volume be in the hallway?
No yelling. Inside voice.
When can you eat in the classroom?
Only during snack time.
What should you do when you enter one of your classrooms?
1. Sit at your desk quietly.
2. Read the board for assignments/directions.
3. Complete assignments quietly
What should you do if you are having a bad day?
1.Take a quick break at your desk
2. Communicate that with a teacher, adult, or friend you trust.
