Lunch Bunch is a time when you get together with other kids to chat and have fun with Mrs. Sanborn. Sometimes we may play a game, talk about feelings or problem solve.

Why did Mrs. Sanborn become a school counselor?

To help children learn and grow -- and because schools are a fun place to be!

If you ask to see me, will you get to see me right away? 

Not usually. We'll have to schedule a time together. Mrs. Sanborn teaches guidance a lot and is also often in meetings. If it is a safety concern, I will be sure to see you right away.

What is a coping skill? 

A coping skill is a healthy way to deal with difficult feelings. Maybe you talk with someone, journal, create art, take some deep breaths, listen to music or exercise just to name a few!
