Where do we line up in the morning/after recess?
Next to the railing by the glass doors.
Where should I play at recess?
On blacktop, playground equipment, or field.
How do we line up for lunch?
Quietly, choice 1's, then choice 2's, then home lunch, when the teacher calls my lunch choice.
Where do I find a sharp pencil if mine is broken?
In the pink cup near the pencil sharpener by Mrs. Brooks desk.
How should I treat others? Why?
With kindness and respect. It helps us all feel safe and to get along.
Where do we line up to leave the room?
By the back door.
How should I treat others at recess?
I should use kind words (please, thank you, no thanks), include others, keep my hands and feet to myself.
What should I be doing when I enter the lunchroom?
Standing quietly in line and waiting my turn.
Where do I find a piece of paper?
In the black tray by the teacher's desk.
What should I do if I need to use the restroom?
Put up 2 fingers and wait for the teacher to shake her head yes or no.
What does it look like and sound like when we line up?
Straight line, hands and feet to self, zero voice level, looking forward.
What should I do if someone is being unkind or unsafe at recess?
Ask them to stop, let an adult on the playground know.
What do I need to remember when getting school lunch before I sit down?
I need my drink, a utensil and napkin.
Where will I find the tissues?
On the back table, or on the bookcase.
What does it look like and sound like to be an active listener?
I am looking at the speaker with a zero voice level.

Eyes forward, straight line, right hand side, zero voice, hands and feet to self.
What our some playground expectations?
Use equipment the way it was made to be used. No fighting, no swearing, be safe, be respectful, be kind.

1-12 are by the teacher's desk, 13-18 are in the back of the class.
What should I do when I want to talk?
raise my hand and wait to be called on.
What does lining up after recess look like and sound like? How do we enter the building?
Quiet, stay in line, walking feet, hands to self. We should be a good example to the rest of the school.
When the bell rings or whistle blows where should you go?
Put any equipment that you were using away and quickly get in line by the railing near the doors by the cafeteria.
What should I do before leaving the lunchroom?
Wait to be dismissed, clean up my area, check the floor for trash. Walk quietly to the door.
Where can I find a dry erase marker?
On the 2nd shelf of the brown bookshelf in a pencil box.
What does partner work look like and sound like?
Whisper talking, only talking about the assignment, helping but not doing others work for them.
