I respectfully tell them that it isn't appropriate to talk like that, and I take a teacher aside to tell them about the issue.

I receive a strike, which may result in a think time.

I make sure I use the appropriate time when doing chores to clean out my desk and remind others that Mr. Lounsbury gives us plenty of time.

I chose to not stay on task, what happens?

I lose recess privileges and receive a think time after three warnings.

Billy chooses to worry about himself and makes sure his work is done before recess. What are the consequences?

Excel or get better at school

Teacher discretion.

It will be logged into the computer and his parents will be informed.
