Line up in line order.
When should you tell Ms. Conner about a problem?
If it's something you've already tried to solve
or
If someone is being unsafe or rude.
How do you get Ms. Conner's attention?
By raising a quiet hand and waiting patiently to be seen and acknowledged.
Why is a level 1 voice appropriate and not a level 2?
Because any level higher than level 1 can cause a distraction and interruption to the learning environment.
What do you need to do when you need to go to the bathroom?
Ask Ms. Conner for permission ONLY if it an EMERGENCY!
What are the expectations when in the hallway?
We are quiet and our hands are to ourselves (keeping distance).
What if the people you're sitting next to is not having a good day?
You can try to help them by showing that you care.
Why is following instructions so important to your learning in this class?
You may miss some very important knowledge that can help you in what you are learning!
Why should you respect your teachers and classmates?
Because you should treat others the way that you want to be treated!
What should you do if you have a problem?
Try and solve it yourself, if you can't, talk to a teacher or an adult
If you're standing next to someone in line who is trying to distract you, what should you do?
Silently move to a better spot.
What should you bring to the computer lab?
Nothing, unless, Ms. Conner requests certain items from your homeroom teacher.
How are you expected to behave in the computer lab?
Polite, respectful to self, teacher, and others, and mature.
How often should you talk in class?
Not as much; only when it is a question or concern about I ready or a personal matter
What can you do if you finish an assignment early?
-Raise your hand to get Ms. Conner's attention and she will let you know what you can do next.
If there is a lockdown drill while you're in the computer lab, what should you do?
Stay calm and follow Ms. Conner's instructions.
How do you come into the computer lab?
Quietly and listening for instructions from Ms. Conner.
Will you be allowed to talk during your time in the computer lab?
Yes, only on level 1 (whisper).
How can you earn rewards in THIS class?
By always doing what is expected and earning your name on Ms. Conner's Double Star corner wall!
What sites should you be on in the computer lab?
Only the sites Ms. Conner tells you to, otherwise, you'll lose your computer privilege.
How long should it take us to prepare for dismissal from the computer lab?
Less than two minutes.
Are you allowed to bring any food, snacks, beverages, or water into the computer lab?
NO, because it can damage the technology.
Whom are you able to talk with while in the computer lab?
Only your neighbors (those sitting right next to you)
Why is it important to be on your BEST behavior at all times?
Because you want to show your BEST self at all times!
