You must ask permission to go to the office and use your phone and or the schools phone to speak with your parents/guardians, etc.

If you are able, check canvas for work or notes. Let Mrs. Larson know that you were absent and check the absent basket for copies of the work you missed.

Writing utensils.

What should you do if you are having a bad day?

1. Take some deep breaths. 

2.  Communicate with a teacher or adult you trust and they will point you in the right direction. 

3. All teachers and staff here at MFL want to help you through your difficult time. We care about all of you very much!

Count down from 5, ask the class to be quiet or ring the doorbell.

Only with adult permission and when teaching is not going on.

On the way out of the room, at the end of class, and or when Mrs. Larson is not teaching.

Only when instructed to do so for an activity. 

(In other words, we do not throw things in the classroom unless we are doing so in an activity.)

If I can not handle my spot that I am sitting in, what will happen?

1st Offense: Warning

2nd Offense: Banned from the spot for 1 day

3rd Offense: Banned from the spot for 1 week

4th Offense: Permanent removal from spot

What should you do before bed every night to be prepared for school?

2. Make sure you have all supplies in backpack and your laptop is plugged in. (books, computer, charger).

What are two things we need to do at the end of class before we can exit the room?

1.) Put away Notebooks/Folders. 

2.) Clean up: (materials, desk area, place items correctly back into the caddy and make sure that all folders are stacked on the clipboard.)

Can you eat in the classroom?

Yes, but if crumbs or wrappers are found by anyone, your class will lose that privilege.

What are the four things you should do when you enter the classroom?

1. Grab my folder/notebook quietly (Keeping the folder/notebook area organized and not thrown all over)

2. Put your phone in the pocket holder.

3. Sit in assigned spot quietly. 

4. Read the board for expectations and begin working on the Bellwork for the day.

How do you format an email to a teacher?

Greeting: Hello, Hi, How are you?, etc.

Questions or information: Make sure you are specific in what you are talking about and clear enough that the teacher understands. (if possible, include the name of the assignment and the module it is in)

Closing: Thanks, Thank you, Hope you have a good day, etc.
