How does the moon and sun effect tides?
The moon and sun have a gravitational pull on Earth which stretches it slightly so that the water levels go up and down. The suns pull is about half that of the moons because of its distance.
What are comets?
Comets are loudly packed balls of gas, dust and ice. They will either have a ion tail made of electric ions, or a dust tail made of trailing gas and dust.

Hottest stars are blue and white

What are the two types of telescopes and how are they different.
A refracting telescope uses curved lenses to bring the waves into one focal point and into an eyepiece.
A reflecting telescope uses lenses and mirrors to be more focused light goes in bounces off a curved lens and finally off of a triangular mirror.
What are astroids?
Astroids are small rocky bodies revolving around the sun. Lots of astroids are in the wide region between Mars and Jupiter called the astroid belt.
How do galaxies become larger ?
They consume other smaller neighboring galaxies.
What is apparent and absolute magnitude?
Apparent magnitude is how bright a star appears to be and absolute magnitude is how bright a star really is.
What is amplitude and wave length?
Amplitude is how tall a wave is and wavelength is how long it/lasts.
What are the stages of a star?
First it is a nebula (gas and dust) then a protostar is a small bright star. Then it goes into main sequence where it expands and is high energy. Then it is either a supergiant if it’s mass is big or goes into a dwarf star.
What are Meteoroids,Meteors,and Meteorites?
Meteoroids are very small astroids.
Meteorites are meteoroids that strike Earth.
Meteors are tails of gas left by meteoroids.
What is a shooting star?
A shooting star is gas burning up near Earths atmosphere.
