Describe the entire digestive process from mouth to feces
Food is chewed in the mouth, swallowed into the esophagus, and moved by peristalsis to the stomach. Peristalsis moves it again to the small intestine where nutrients are absorbed in the villi. Then it moves into the large intestine where water is absorbed. Then it is moved out of the body.
