Doing this when Mrs. Colvin is teaching is a great way to understand instructions, and also a great way to get a good work habits grade.

What is a planner?
This is a great choice to use if you need to sharpen your pencil while Mrs. Colvin is teaching.

This is what will show up on IC if you have not turned in a content knowledge assignment.
What is missing?
A great choice for where your body should be when the class is doing independent work.
What is in your own seat?
If you need to borrow this from Mrs. Colvin for class, it needs to go back to the charging station when you leave class.

This is the preferred item to leave if you borrow a pencil to help you remember to return it to Mrs. Colvin.
What is your shoe?
If you re-take or re-do an assignment, this is the highest grade you can get the second time.
What is a 3?
Writing in this every day at the start of class is a good way to stay organized, remember homework, and get a good work habits grade.
What is a planner?
This is a good place to check for papers that you turned in but did not get handed back to you.

These are often used for measuring or graphing and should be returned to the plastic pitcher when not in use.

This is the only kind of assignment that Mrs. Colvin will not let students re-take, because students should already have all the answers they need.
What is an open-note quiz?
These are things you should turn in on time or do for homework if instructed. If these are not done on time, it can lower your work habits grade.

This is a great place to get a paper summary of our day if you missed school.
What are the "what you missed" folders?
This is available for students to use for note-taking or graphing. You should only take as much as you need for you or your table. Extra pieces should be returned neatly.

This is where your binder will go if it doesn't get put away properly.

This class period is given every week and is a great opportunity to get missing work completed and turned in.
What is ELT?
This is the second trait in our ROK behavior, and is shown by getting caught up after an absence, asking questions when you don't understand something, or trying to improve work habits.
What is "own it"?
This is a great idea to do at the end of class with any materials you borrowed.
This is something that would be helpful for you to bring for watching videos or listening to Discovery Ed.
