They are a producer. They gather sunlight and produce sugars, which are then fed to consumers. (Photosynthesis)

A food chain is a series of repeating happenings. (Ex. Grass -> Cow -> Human)

Abiotic are non-living things, biotic are living things.

Everything would go extinct. Plants are producers, which produce food for "predators" (Herbivores), which then feed other predators (Carnivores, Omnivores) and the cycle will go on and on till everything is extinct.

A food chain is one food chain, and a food web is multiple food chains interconnected.
What is one thing that separates an abiotic and biotic factor.
Even though non-living things can function, it doesn't mean it's living. Fungi, although not living, can still break down organic matter, Fungi can also release Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Phosphorus into the soil and atmosphere. But.. It's still not living. One is living one is not.
