When you dissolve something, it is the process of a substance becoming incorporated uniformly into another. When something evaporates, it is when water in a material dries up or goes into the air or the change of state from liquid to gas.

You would wait a certain amount of time depending on the amount of salt and water you mix together, and once you're done waiting, you would look into the cup to find salt crystals.
