What is weathering?
Weathering is the breaking down or disintegration of substances such as rocks and minerals by physical, chemical, or biological processes.
What is a mixture?
A mixture is when two or more substances are combined, but they do not lose their identifying characteristics.

A sedimentary rock is layers of sediment being pressed together by gravity and cementing together.
