How does an igloo connect to what we learned about thermal energy and how it moves?
The entrance was dug deeper down to trap the cold air and the rest was made to allow the smoke out as the heat from the fireplace would warm the place. Snow was packed between the ice to continue to act like glue keeping the igloo together. Body heat inside the igloo as well as fire and being lower in the ground helped to create heat.
