Air pressure
The pressure with in a container due to the compression of atmospheric gasses.
Wind speed
How fast the air is moving past a certain point.
Warm front
The transition zone where air and mass is replacing a cold air mass.
Balanced/unbalanced
Forces that are equal in size and opposite in direction
Velocity
The speed of something in a given direction.
Weather front
A boundary between two air masses.
Rain gauge
A Metorolgical instrument to measure the precipitating rain in a given amount of time per unit area.
Meteorologist
Someone who watches tthe he weather .
Inertia
A property of matter by which it remains at the state of rest or in uniform motion in the same straight line unless acted upon by forgot force.
Transfer of energy
The process by which energy is relocated from one system to another.
Stratus clouds.
A low cloud form extending over a large area at altitudes.
Barometer
A scientific instrument to measure atmospheric pressure.
Stationary front
When cold and warm air masses combine.
Speed
The rate at someone is able to move or operate.
Gravity
The force that that attracts a body toward the center of the earth.
Climate
The weather over time
Low pressure
Having exerting or operating under a relatively small pressure.
Axis
The center of the earth
Direction
A course along whitch someone or something moves.
Motion
The action of moving or being moved.

The forward edge of an advancing mass of cold air that pushes under a warm air mass.

The air pressure.

The quantity of moving body measured as a product of its mass and velocity.
