100
Q. How are the plants and soil connected?
A. Soil is in the plants.

What happens if one link of the food chain is endangered in some way?
If one organism dies then the organisms that depend on it will die.
100
What are minerals?
Pieces of rocks or “The building blocks of rocks.”

What’s a biome?
A biome is a very large area of land with a certain kind of climate and certain kinds of organisms living there.

200p. Q. What are the stages of the Water Cycle?
A. The stages of the Water Cycle are Evaporation, Condensation, and Precipitation.
200
Q. What is the composition of soil?
A. Large rocks became weathered and it became soil.
200
What roles do living and non- living things play in a healthy ecosystem?
. Nonliving like sunlight and soil can help trees grow which can be homes for animals
200
What are the three main types of rocks?
Igneous rocks, sedimentary rocks, and metamorphic rocks.
200
What is an ecosystem?
An ecosystem is an environment that has living or non-living things that interacts with each other.

300p. Q. What is humidity?
A. The amount of water vapor in the air
300
Q. What are the stages of germination?
A. Seed, root, stem and spores.
300
How do organisms in each food chain need each other?
.Organisms in the food chain need eachother .If one organism dies out than the things that eat it will die. If a predator dies out then the things it eat will to populated.
300
What causes erosion?
When running water, wind, waves, or glaciers pick up things like dirt and rocks from the surface and move them around.
300
What activities do humans do that puts pressure the environment?
The activities that humans do that puts pressure to the environment is Industry, Farming, Forestry, and Commercial Fishing.
400
400p. Q. What causes precipitation?
A. When condensation is formed from evaporation it precipitates or rains.
400
Q. How do the methods of seed dispersal help the spread of plants?
A. The joining of egg cells and sperm cell is called fertilization. The fertilized eggs developed into a seed.
400
What are two adaptations that these organisms have for survival in their ecosystem?
Some adaptations are learning to hunt at night, digging into the ground to avoid heat, and storing water to avoid dieing of thirst etc.
400
How can a glacier change the appearance of the earth’s surface?
Glaciers can carry trees, rocks, and soil with it. And earth’s surface looks a lot different without all that.
400
What are the two major ways that extinction happens?
Mass Extinction, when a large percentage of all species on earth becomes extinct in a very short period of time or Evolutionary Pressure which species change over many generations.

c.How can we classify orginisms live in our simulated water ecosystems?
classify organisms in these groups: Producers ( most plants) consumers ( animals) and decomposers (most bacteria)
500
How are the three main types of rocks formed?
Igneous rocks are formed when magma cools and hardens.Sedimentary rocks form because of erosion. Storms send pieces of rock into water. The pieces collected by water form layers, which then harden forming sedimentary rocks. Metamorphic rocks form when existing rocks have been squeezed and heated deep inside the earth’s crust.
