It was the first day of summer! Janie was ready to go to the beach. She packed a lunch and started to walk out the door, as she left, her mother warned her not to go get too much sun. she told Janie to wear a hot on her head, She also told her to put sunscreen on her face and arms. But Janie was thinking of the beach. She was not really listening. The sun was hot and the water was cool. It was late in the day when they were ready to leave. As she walked home. Janie saw people looking at her. Whats the matter? Janie ran into her house and went up to her room. She looked into the mirror. What she saw made her jump. Her face looked like a bright, Red Tomato.
