Why is it important to be specific when telling someone to do something in emergencies?
It reduces confusion. When you are just spouting commands, people will think that the others will do it and they won't take actions themselves. It reduces panic. A hostile environment will get people distracted. It also enhanced proficiency. When everyone knows what they are tasked with, it helps get the person hurt what they need.
