this elected scout leads the patrol leaders, consults with the Scoutmaster to appoint other junior leaders and assigns specific responsibilities as needed

these are issued to scouts to show that they scout has registered to work on a certain merit badge

this is earned once a scout learns safety and skills regarding pocket knives, saws, and axes
