King Limhi sent out a search party to look for the land of Zarahemla; but they could not find it and ended up lost. They search party discovered Jaredite people.

"But behold, every man that lifted his club to smite Ammon, he smote off their arms with his sword; for he did withstand their blows by smiting their arms with the edge of his sword, insomuch that they began to be astonished, and began to flee before him; yea, and they were not few in number; and he caused them to flee by the strength of his arm."

Alma 

Ammon prevents the King Lamoni's sheep from being scattered by robbers.

"And I, Moroni, will not deny the Christ; wherefore, I wander withersoever I can for the safety of mine own life."

Moroni

Any Nephite who will not deny the Christ is put to death. Moroni is totally alone and hiding from the Lamanites.

"And thus we saw the glory of the celestial, which excels in all things-where God, even the Father reigns upon his throne forever and ever."

Joseph Smith receives a vision about Heaven and the three degrees of glory found there.

The parable of the 10 virgins

1 Nephi

The Lord Commands Nephi to build a ship. Laman and Lemuel mock Nephi and aim to harm him. The Lord protects Nephi and Laman and Lemuel are struck down.

"And now it came to pass in the second month of this year, there was brought unto us many provisions from the fathers of those my two thousand sons."

Alma

2000 Stripling warriors are led by Helaman into battle to protect their parents covenant.

"And it came to pass that Amalickiah caused that one of his servants should administer poison by degrees to Lehonti, that he died."

Alma 

Amalickiah wants to become King of the Lamanites. He talks King Lehonti down from the mountain and poisons him, thus becoming king.

"Now, behold, I say unto you, that because you delivered up those writings which you had power given unto you to translate by the means of the Urim and Thummim, into the hands of a wicked man, you have lost them."

D&C 10

Joseph Smith and Martin Harris have lost the 116 pages of the manuscript. Joseph's ability to translate is taken from him for a time.

Christ heals the woman with an issue of blood.

Alma 44

Moroni and the Nephites battle against the Lamanites. Moroni asks the Lamanites to make a covenant of peace or be destroyed. Lamanites chose destruction.

"And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."

2 Nephi

Nephi and his brothers go their separate ways. Nephites and Lamanites are formed. Lamanites are cursed with black skin because of their iniquity.

"And it shall come to pass, after many days, slaves shall rise up against their masters, who shall be marshaled and disciplines for war."

D&C 87

Joseph Smith receives a revelation concerning the Civil War that is to come.

Christ is crucified.

Ether

The Jaredite people become increasingly wicked. The Lord sends famine and poisonous serpents to plague the people. The Jaredites repent.

"And I will tell you of the wrestle which I had before God, before I received a remission of my sins".

Enos

Enos prays all day and all night and cries unto God for repentance.

"And when there were but few of them gathered together to dance, they came forth out of their secret places and took them and carried them into the wilderness; yea, twenty and four of the daughters of the Lamanites they carried into the wilderness."

Mosiah 

The Priests of King Noah who fled once King Noah died, stumble upon and capture the daughters of the Lamanites. Lamanites blame the people of Limhi and wage war upon Limhi.

"Behold, thy sins are forgiven thee, and thou art an elect lady, whom I have called."

D&C 25

Revelation given to Joseph Smith for Emma Smith about the Lord's will for her.

"And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it."

Luke

Christ is twelve years old and stays behind in Jerusalem to preach in the temple.

"And it came to pass that after he had smitten off the head of Shiz, that Shiz raised up on his hands and fell; and after that he had struggled for breath, he died".

Ether

The Jaredite people are utterly destroyed because of their wickedness.

"And thus six years had not passed away since the more part of the people had turned from their righteousness, like the dog to his vomit, or like the sow to her wallowing in the mire."

3 Nephi 7

The Nephite people become increasingly more wicked after the sign of Christ's birth. The Chief Judge is murdered and the Nephite people divide into tribes.

"And the husbands and fathers of those women and children they have slain; and they feed the women upon the flesh of their husbands, and the children upon the flesh of their fathers; and no water, save a little, do they give unto them."

Moroni 

The Nephites are being destroyed by the Lamanites. The Lamanites are killing off the Nephites, as was foretold centuries before.

"And again, as pertaining to the law of the priesthood-if any man espouse a virgin, and desire to espouse another, and the first give her consent, and if he espouse the second, and they are virgins, and have vowed to no other man, then is he justified; he cannot commit adultery with that that belongeth unto him and to no one else."

D&C 132

The Revelation concerning Plural Marriage.

And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

Christ performs miracles. Christ casts the legion of devils from the man and sends the devils into swine. The Swine fall off a cliff and die.
