What does participation in I-SPY:VI entail?
Initial Visit: ADOS-2 (formerly BOSA), KBIT, & EVT
EEG Visit: EEG & parent questionnaires
Virtual Visit #1: virtual activities & child questionnaires
Virtual Visit #2: virtual activities, child questionnaires, & parent questionnaires
Virtual Game Night: child plays games & chats with fellow participants via Zoom!
ADOS-2 Visit: for those who previously came in for Initial Visits and were unable to receive one due to COVID-19 protocols.
What does participation in PEDAL entail?
Initial Visit: BOSA & KBIT
Zoom Visit: parent questionnaires
24-Hour Ambulatory EEG: takes place at outpatient neurology!
What are the visits for OPRITA & what happens at each?
Baseline Visit (via Zoom): child questionnaires before intervention ("pre-test"), interactive activity (randomly assigned, takes about 30 minutes), child questionnaires after intervention ("post-test"), parent questionnaires.
Follow-Up Visit (via Zoom, 3 months later): child questionnaires, parent questionnaires.
What is the age range & diagnostic criteria for I-SPY?
Ages 11-17; Does not need to meet diagnostic criteria for ASD.
What is the age range & diagnostic criteria for PEDAL?
Ages 18 months-17; Must meet diagnostic criteria for ASD.
Who can participate in OPRITA?
Adolescents ages 11-16 that have been previously diagnosed with ASD from ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY!
What is the compensation for I-SPY? Does the family receive a report?
$75.00 or $100.00 Amazon.com gift card. (If a family asks what it will be at the Initial Visit, say it varies, or say $75.00! Never say $100!) Family does receive a clinical report.

$100.00 Amazon.com gift card. Family does receive a clinical report.
