Clarisse and her men were on border patrol, but most of them, besides Clarisse were running around panicking. The bulls were all over the hill because the magical tree was not working at protecting the camp from monsters. The camp was under attack because Thalia’s tree was poisoned and the camp borders were no longer protected.
