A student wants to see all the groups they currently belong to. Where should they look?
My Activities → My Groups
How often do returning RCOs need to re-register?
Every year.
What system is used to request general assignment campus space?
Ad Astra
What is one reason we use peer advising with RCOs?
To provide organizations with guidance, support, and resources to help them successfully operate.
What are accounting requests used for?
They can be used for things such as transferring awarded SEAL funding, reimbursements, and paying vendors for RCO-related expenses.
An RCO officer wants to send an email specifically to certain categories of members rather than the entire roster. Can Shoreline do this?
Yes. The Shoreline email function can target different categories of members based on membership settings.
Name three things a new RCO must submit during registration.
Any three of:
An RCO wants to see which campus spaces are available on a particular date before requesting a room. Where should they look?
Ad Astra → Calendars → Scheduling Grids
An RCO has not completed its required group advising meeting. What should an intern do?
Follow up with the RCO, remind them of the requirement, and help connect them with the appropriate advising process.
What are the two major types of paperwork/batches you might encounter in a red folder?
Deposit batches and check/payment batches.
An organization wants to assign officers tasks and make sure assignments are completed on time. What Shoreline feature should they use?
Tracks & Checklists
An organization has a President and Treasurer but no third officer. Can they complete new RCO registration?

What form/process does an RCO continue completing after creating an event on Shoreline?
The 360 Event Planning Guide/Form
Name the three mandatory RCO workshops/requirements.
Name three things you should verify when auditing a transaction in a red folder.
Any three:
An RCO created a survey on Shoreline and now wants to see response statistics, download the responses, and email everyone who responded. What feature allows them to do this?
Surveys & Forms → select the survey/form → toolbar
An RCO tells you:
“Our registration has been pending for a few days. Are we no longer an RCO?”
What should you tell them?
No. If they have submitted their registration and are pending approval, they can still function as a regular RCO. They should be patient while SEAL processes the registration.
An RCO tells you:
“We're having our normal weekly officer meeting. Do we need to attend Minor Events Committee?”
No. MEC attendance is required for applicable events, but general membership and officer meetings are excluded.
An officer says:
“I already completed #Gauchoback for another RCO, so I don't need to tell SEAL about this RCO.”
What should they do?
An officer can represent up to two RCOs when attending the workshops, but they need to state which RCOs they are representing.
You are auditing a deposit batch. The total on the report is $500, but the deposit ticket says $450.
What should you do?
Note the discrepancy clearly on the report and do not sign it off as having no inconsistencies.
An RCO leader says, “I created a Shoreline event, but I don't understand why I'm being asked more questions about my event.”
They are being redirected to the 360 Event Planning Guide, which collects additional information to determine event needs such as MEC review, food permits, and other event requirements.
An RCO changes its constitution and uploads the new version to Shoreline immediately. Is the new constitution automatically the official version?
No. Revisions/amendments aren't valid until they are reviewed and approved by a University Advisor in SEAL.
An RCO wants to sell homemade cookies at a campus fundraiser. They say, “They're just cookies, so we don't need to worry about permits.”
Are they correct?
No. Food sales on campus generally require a SEAL Food Permit, including food prepared from raw ingredients. The organization needs to go through the appropriate event/360 process.
You're emailing an RCO about their required group advising meeting. What else should you check/remind them about at the same time?
Their mandatory RCO workshop requirements and current progress/deadlines.
You've finished auditing a red folder. Everything matches.
Name the FOUR things you should do before considering the audit complete.
