Physical Health

20 seconds
When you are smiling, laughing, and having fun with your friends, you are feeling this emotion.
Happy
When your body is calm, your ears are listening, and you are ready to do your work, you are in this color zone.
Green zone
This is when your inner voice says mean things like "I am not good enough" or "I will never learn this." It can make you feel sad and want to quit.
Negative self-talk
To keep this area of health strong, you should play fairly with friends, take turns with others, and use kind words.
Social Health
Doing this every night gives your brain a break and gives your body energy to play and learn the next day.

When your face feels hot, your hands make fists, and you want to stomp your feet, you are likely feeling this.
Mad or Angry
If you are feeling tired, sick, sad, or moving very slowly, your body is in this color zone.
Blue zone
This is when you use your inner voice to cheer yourself on and say nice things, like "I am brave" or "I can do hard things," instead of saying mean things to yourself.

This type of health is about how you think and feel.
Mental-Emotional Health
This is something that we should do twice a day to keep our teeth healthy and strong
Brush your teeth.
You might feel this way if you hear a loud noise in the dark or see a big spider. You might want to hide!
Scared or Afraid
When you start to feel frustrated, overwhelmed, or very silly and wiggly, you are in this zone. It means you need to slow down!
Yellow Zone
When you feel angry or frustrated, one of these strategies can help your body calm down and relax.
breathing, taking a break, talking to an adult, exercise, sip of water etc.
Brushing your teeth twice a day and washing your hands before dinner are "hygiene" habits that help this area of health.
Physical Health.
This is something that you wear to protect yourself whenever you are riding a bike, rollerblades/rollerskates or scooters.
This is the feeling you have when you can't wait for your birthday party to start. You have lots of energy and might want to jump up and down!
Excited
When you are extremely angry, terrified, or yelling and cannot control your body, you have reached this color zone.
Red zone
If you are trying to learn something new and it feels too hard, a growth mindset means you don't say "I can't do it." Instead, you add this powerful little three-letter word to the end of the sentence.

Taking a deep breath, practicing mindfullness, and talking to a trusted adult are tools that we can use to keep this area of health strong.
Mental-Emotional Health
We should do this every day to keep our bodies healthy and strong. (Hint...it is the opposite of sitting and looking at a screen)
