What are your individual OH&S rights?
1. The right to participate in health and safety discussions and committees. Example: Safety Meetings and share ideas, or join the health and safety committee
2.The right to refuse dangerous work. Example: Refusing to complete a task due to not having any training for it
3.The right to know about workplace hazards. Example: Knowing if changes have been made to the OH&S
Is the health and safety policy communicated to employees? What are some of the key points listed in the Health and Safety Policy?
The Health and Safety policy bulletin board in the corridor (along with other policies). The policy talks about how the company will make sure we have PPE and adequate equipment. It also talks about how they don't tolerate bullying and harassment and care about our well-being.
