Upon request from an accompanied child, assuming that the request is reasonable and the safety of the unaccompanied child and staff is adversely impacted, care provider must transport unaccompanied children to places of worship.
ORR requires care providers to operate their programs following the guiding principles below. Care providers must ensure LGBTQI children and youth:
Are treated with same dignity and respect as other unaccompanied children, receive recognition of sexual orientation or gender identity. are not discriminated against or harassed based on actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity. are cared for in a inclusive and respectful environment.
At Minimum when arriving, a child should get?

If the child arrives at the care provider facility with appropriate clothing the UC will be allowed to wear it.
Also, care providers will ensure the following for LGBTWI children:
Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information concerning sexual orientation and gender identity. Use correct names and pronouns in accordance with the youth gender identity. According to an assessment of youth gender identity and housing preference, health, and safety needs. offer an individual assessment to determine whether additional or alternate restroom accommodations should be provided. Allow LGBTQI youth to dress and express themselves according to their gender identity. Allow LGBTQI youth to choose the gender of staff to conduct to a pat-down search if one is necessary.
Before interacting with other children, a UC should what?
the child should eat and take a bath.
The orientation must include the following information:
an explanation of the nature of the unaccompanied alien child custody in ORR, the card provider rules, responsibilities, and procedures, the unaccompanied general rights and responsibilities, the care providers behavior management policies, the care providers grievance policies and procedures, emergency and evacuation procedures, and other procedures that can help minor adjust to the new setting.
How many minimum hours of education must a child receive M-F daily?
six hours of structured education, Monday thought Friday, throughout the entire year in basic academic areas, including, Science,Social Studies, Math, Reading, Writing, Physical Education and English as Second Language, ESL.
What kind of chores can a UC do?
Care providers may assign individual chores to unaccompanied children to teach them responsibilities for their own living environment but unaccompanied children may not be required to clean up areas they do not occupy or use, such as administrative offices. Care provider must have written policies and procedures regarding chores assignments and schedules.
How do you ensure the privacy and safety of all child phone calls?
By Having internal policies and procedures for telephone calls, such as verifying the identity of telephone callers and the recipient of outgoing telephone calls.
A complete initial medical exam, including a screening for infectious disease- should happen within what time?

To appropriately respond to the dead of a child in the care and custody of ORR, ORR and its provider must immediately report the death to a appropriate federal state, and local authorities. ORR must also notify the minor parents, legal guardian, attorney, congressional officials and consulate officials of the death.

Other appropriate stakeholders, such as their consulate, case coordinator or child advocate.
