What is self-regulation?
Self-management is also known as self-regulation. Self-regulation means being able to stay in control over our emotions or the way we show our feelings in ways that are acceptable, safe, and that don't hurt yourself or others.

Impulse control helps us to stay in control of our body and mind and allows us to think about the potential consequences of our actions.

An example of good Time Management skills would be when a child decides to finish their homework and chores immediately after school, so they have time to watch TV later in the evening.
