Effect =  what happens as a consequence (result, impact, outcome) of an event, an idea or a development


Example: Lighting + Thunder (Cause) → Rain (effect) 


People  were able to control their food supply when they started farming  (cause)→ job specialization, because not everyone in Neolithic villages needed to farm, so people began doing other jobs (effect)
