What happens if a skater cannot resolve their issue in the 3 minutes of their 3-minute break?
A turn executed on one foot from an outside edge to an outside edge or an inside edge to an inside edge, with the exit curve on a different lobe from the entry curve. The skater turns in the direction opposite to the entry curve (i.e. in the direction of the exit curve).
Counter
The air is extra dry in the competition arena today and you notice during your spin that your nose is bleeding. You go talk to the referee, get medical attention and your nose has stopped bleeding (thanks to the kleenex shoved up there). It's been 2 minutes and 45 seconds since you stopped and skated to the ref, can you continue your program? If so, how many points are deducted?
No points deducted for a medical event that allows the program to be resumed within 3 minutes
