What is the most basic way of serving mankind?

The most basic way of serving mankind is inviting people to the path of Allah and praying for them. While it is the duty of all Muslims to invite people to Allah, as Ahmadi Muslims, it is our prime responsibility and the Jamaat utilizes considerable resources and manpower through its various schemes to do this.

It is narrated that once a Jew came before the Holy Prophet(saw) with the complaint that a companion of the Holy Prophet(saw) had failed to return the four dirham, the currency of that time, he owed the Jew, and the time for settlement had been exceeded. The Holy Prophet(saw) called the companion and asked him whether that was the case, to which the companion answered in the affirmative. The Holy Prophet(saw) asked him to return the money, to which the companion said he had no money at present and would return it as soon as he had it. The Holy Prophet(saw)again said, return the money. The companion again replied he did not have it. This went on three times, after which the companion was forced by the Holy Prophet(saw)to repay the money.  


What happened next?

He then went to the market, sold the clothes he was wearing for four dirhams, placed his headdress over his body, and returned the money to the Jew. This is how the Holy Prophet(saw) guided his followers to fulfil their agreements and show justice so that peace and justice could prevail in society.
