The small spool that holds the lower thread when stitching.
What is the bobbin?
Premeasured markings on a square plate located at the base of your sewing machine.
What is a throat plate?
The dial that controls the size (length) of the stitch.
What is the stitch length control?
Pulls thread from the thread spool and moves with the needle. Looks like a dolphin coming out of the water.
What is the thread take up lever?
The part which regulates the looseness or tightness of the stitch.
What is tension control dial?
Allows machine to stitch backwards (secures the stitch)
