Greenwashing is considered an unsubstantiated claim to deceive consumers into believing that a company's products are environmentally friendly.

No, recuasse it still depends on fossil fuels to function. Perhaps, in the long run because it uses longer lasting materials and can perhaps then become self sustaining.
