What is a blue tint to the skin called? What does it mean?
It is called cyanosis. It indicates that there is a problem with circulation/oxygen delivery. Cyanosis is a key indicator of shock
What does AED stand for? What does it do? How is it used?
Automatic External Defibrillator
It helps to get the heart back into the right rhythm. The chest must be dried and shaved then pads are applied. AED prompts must then be followed.
