1. The Best Practices Approach provides the Executive Board a structured
framework for managing and guiding their strategic direction and initiatives
within Association Guidelines (Association Bylaws, Policies and Procedures),
ensuring that each League and its members achieve their full potential.
2. The Best Practices Approach requires members to draw upon their
collective wisdom, knowledge and skills in a collaborative style as they
identify opportunities and solve challenges. The situational opportunities
and challenges identified by the Executive Board will require the application
of practical skills including: planning, budgeting, goal setting, public
speaking, negotiations, meeting facilitation, etc., in order for the Executive
Board to achieve the desired outcomes that will ensure the sustainability of
their League.
