Setting&Plot
Time and place in which a story takes place.
What is setting?
A problem, fight, or disagreement between the main character and someone or something else.
What is conflict?
A person who is admired and idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities.
What is hero?
There are three types of point of view:

The end of the story.

What is character vs. character, character vs. self, character vs. environment?
A character who does not change.
What is static/consistent?
Narrator knows the thoughts and emotions of only ONE character.
What is limited?
The central idea or message the author is trying to convey and communicate.
What is theme?
The plot diagram has the following(in order)
What is introduction, initial incident, rising action, climax, falling action, conclusion?
Thinking your not good enough.
What is character vs. self?
The person who is telling the story.
What is narrator?
"you" is used throughout to appeal to the reader.
What is second person?
A piece of writing that describes imaginary events and people.
What is fiction?
The highest/turning point of the story.
What is climax?
Struggles against vampires, ghosts, etc.
What is character vs. supernatural?
Any force that goes against the protagonist?
What is antagonist?
The narrator only comments on the actions of characters.
What is objective?
An overused expression?
What is cliché?
The events and conflicts begin to resolve themselves.
What is falling action?
A struggle against ideas, practices, or customs of other people.
What is character vs. society?
Aladdin goes from thieving street rat to dishonest prince to honest hero.
What is Dynamic character?
Sees and knows all emotions and thoughts of characters.
A writer gives an advance hint of what is to come later in the story.
What is foreshadow?
